How do I see my messages?
You will receive a notification that you have a new message. All you have to do is click on the link to open the message.
Can a family member receive messages too?
Yes, designated family members or caregivers can also receive and respond to messages. Just ask your care team to add them to your profile.
Is there a fee to use Twistle?
Twistle is a free service that helps you become healthier and more informed. Please note standard text messaging rates (from your mobile phone provider) may apply. You can opt out from receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to the text message.
Is this information secure?
Yes, all messages meet healthcare security and privacy standards.
Do I need to download an app to use Twistle?
The most popular way to receive messages is SMS text. Patients do not have to download an app to read and respond to messages.
If your healthcare provider will be sending messages to you over multiple months about a long-term health condition, it might be more convenient to download the Twistle app.
Additionally, if you are using connected devices to measure your vital signs (like blood pressure cuffs, weight scales or spirometers), you may be required to download the Twistle app from Apple Store or Google Play.
